This isn’t normal.

Nowadays instead of the 7-10 meals I used to do as a bodybuilder, or the 5-6 I used to do on Paleo, I now only do between 1-3. Average I would say is 2.

Don’t you get hungry?

No. When you focus on getting the majority of your nutrition from the macro nutrient that the body and brain requires the most you don’t. Eat your FAT!

Fat doesn’t make you fat.

Our brain is 60% made up of fat. If you don’t eat fat it doesn’t get the fuel it needs. This is also another reason so many people are suffering with mental issues, brain fog, sleep issues, weight issues, you name it— the brain isn’t working to its capacity eating low fat and high carb diets.

I do a combination nutrition lifestyle plan of ketogenic, Low Carb High Fat (LCHF), Intermittent fasting, nutritional cleansing, and fasting. So yes, even somedays I eat 0

times a day. That’s a far stretch from waking up first thing and getting my protein in. Massive shift in mindset had to happen for me in order to make the switch. However, also my health and especially my mental health was fading fast eating high carbs and low fat.

Like I said at the beginning you can get a great body eating multiple meals per day. For me though it’s all about convenience and healthy aging. You have to find the time to fix and prepare those meals, for me it was like a part-time job with meal prep and cooking. If you are a busy adult with kids and responsibilities then how are you going to get that done? When I was doing it I was in college with just a part-time job.

If your blood sugar and insulin levels are elevated all the time that’s going to lead to health issues. For some people it will be more immediate with weight and fat gain, lack of energy, and so forth. Then you have the other stuff that takes more time to build up like cancer, heart disease, diabetes, joint issues, auto-immune diseases, Alzheimer’s, dementia and so forth. Plus, high blood sugar and insulin ages you faster because it is basically ‘rusting' your cells on the inside.

To be the healthiest you can be now and in the future you need to control your blood sugar.
