CW: I’ve never been more fit. My goals are maintenance. I want to keep moving as often as I can for as long as I can. And to continue to grow my knowledge as it relates to nutrition.

KM: Tell me about your diet. What are you eating? How has it changed? What's your guilty pleasure?

CW: I really don’t even like to use the term diet. I try to make healthy choices and encourage my clients to do the same. It has taken me years to figure out what works for me. Everyone is different. There is no one size fits all and you have to take the time to learn you, know your body and what works for you. As a Fitness professional, I think of food as fuel. I really need to consume the right things to help me perform and keep going on those long days. I eat a lot of Whole Foods, fresh veggies, fruits, protein shakes, BCAAs for recovery and to rebuild. Am I perfect? By no means. Do I indulge? I sure do and will. I just can’t stay there and I’m more disciplined now to understand what works and what doesn’t work for me.

KM: Why do you recommend spinning?

CW: It is great cardio! Low impact of your joints, great for any fitness level - you can ride at your own pace. And it’s a great sense of community. You never know who you are riding next to and I always encourage riders to get to know their neighbors. We take a journey together as one, you should get to know others on the journey with you.

KM: Anyone that follows you on Instagram will see that you do a wide variety of fitness related activities besides spinning.
