I was very determined to make this change in my life as well as accomplish a lofty goal. So, I went to the gym four to five times a week for the six week period. It became evident to me as the weeks passed how much this was really working for my body as the exercises, while still intense, became easier for me to accomplish. I also realized just how much fun I was having and that “fun” was the main reason I was able to stick with it this time!

So, coming into the gym for my last weigh-in I was certainly nervous, but also fairly sure of myself as I had weighed at home prior to. However, I left feeling ecstatic as I had lost a total of 26.4 pounds during my challenge! Not only did I beat the challenge, I surpassed by 1.4 pounds! In celebration, I went to the Northstar Café next to the gym and enjoyed their fabulous cloud nine pancakes!
