Dear Partners and Colleagues,
Here, it’s different. Collective strength. One focus. This is our philosophy at the
Colorado Fetal Care Center. We are dedicated to developing a culture of collaboration
and an integrated experience, for both our patients and our partners.
A mother’s first appointment includes our entire multidisciplinary team: pediatric/fetal
radiology, maternal fetal medicine, fetal surgery, genetics, psychology, neonatology,
and all relevant postnatal pediatric providers. We are one of only a few centers that
brings together the full care team from the very beginning to streamline the process
for patients while also ensuring the most responsive and comprehensive care plan. In
addition, mother and baby can both be treated here, under one roof. We have a fully
dedicated labor, delivery and postpartum unit so that babies with complex needs can
receive immediate care at birth, and so that mothers can stay close to their baby during
this stressful time. If a baby is transferred here from another hospital after delivery, the
mother can be transported as well to recover in our maternal unit.
We understand, value and respect the relationship you have with your patients.
Because of this, we place the utmost importance on collaborating and communicating
with you throughout the management of these complex pregnancies and will update
you on the baby’s progress after delivery.
From day one we bring all of our specialists together, we keep mothers and babies together,
and we work closely with our referring providers. At the Colorado Fetal Care Center, we
work collectively as a team to achieve the best possible outcome for every family.
