Debbie McQuay
Beginning March 30, Debbie
McQuay accepted the role as
Interim Administrator for Colonial
Springs. Jeff Miller accepted the
Interim Administrator role at
Citizen’s Memorial Health Care
Facility (CMHCF)
Debbie joined CMH in 1982 as
utilization review and quality
assurance coordinator. Prior to her
career at CMH, Debbie worked at
various healthcare organizations as
a staff nurse in multiple depart-
ments including surgery, obstetrics,
intensive/cardiac care unit and
med/surg.
Debbie began her career in
healthcare as a licensed practical
nurse. She became a Registered
Health Information Technician
(RHIT) in 1990 and a Certified
Professional in Healthcare Quality
(CPHQ) in 2000. She earned her
nursing home administrator’s
license in 2001.
As CMH grew, rolls changed and
Debbie held positions such as
director of quality improvement for
the organization, director of
medical records, quality
improvement for long-term care
facilities and Butterfield Residen-
tial Care Center administrator. She
was administrator at CMHCF for
three years and in January
accepted the position as Director
of Navigational Services, a newly
formed positon for CMH.
Debbie stated, “I am very
impressed with the respect and
care I have seen demonstrated by
the staff toward our residents.”
She enjoys working with long term
care residents and staff.
In her spare time, she enjoys
spending time with her family,
especially her grandchildren and
fishing with her husband, Vic.
