ARTIST SPOTLIGHT - ERA By Lady Spitfire
So sometimes when one door closes, another one opens. You are blessed with amazing musi-
cian ship of some bands that you can’t just not cover them. This month truly is blessed with
these guys after airing them on a show that I had featuring TheDavid Garlow… So Dave, this one
is for you.
Thank you for the continued inspiration in the music scene for its people like you that have me
writing now, something I thought that I would never do.

Q) How did you come up with your band name? Explain the name of your band.
A) Our former vocalist Andrew Hurlbut, who also happens to be the brother of our bass play-
er/current vocalist Barry Hurlbut, came up with the name. It had a mythological tie in to it, and
plus we liked some of the definitions we came across. We had a few names floating around, but
we decided to go with that one.
Q) Tell us the brief history of your band. How did you guys meet?
A) We’ve all been friends for a very long time and have played in various groups and projects
together in the past. We were (and still are) all fans of one another’s musical prowess, so it only
seemed fitting that we would all end up in the same group.
