On March 17, 18 and 19, 2016, the American College of Bankruptcy will host the 2016 Induction Ceremony and Related Events in Washington, D.C. at the D.C. Renaissance Downtown Hotel. The Induction of Class XXVII will be held on Friday, March 18 at the Smithsonian Donald W. Reynolds Center for American Art and Portraiture. During this time we will also honor our 2016 Distinguished Service Award recipients, Henry J. Sommer and Jay L. Westbrook.
In addition to the Induction Ceremony other events include:

- International Fellows Panel Discussion
- Tour for Spouses and Guests
- Honoring Distinguished Bankruptcy Law Students from the Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth and Tenth Circuits
