Long-time Columbia Museum of Art
supporter Ginny Newell was raised to
believe that culture, in all forms, would
enrich her life. Growing up in Charlotte,
she visited the Mint Museum for art classes
and got dressed up to hear the Charlotte
Symphony. It wasn’t until later that she
would realize the impact these things had
on her life.
