Friday, June 4 Concert: 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Saturday, June 5 Workshops: 10:00 a.m. – Noon and 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. A weekend of Irish music and dance begins with a Friday evening concert at the Museum featuring Pat Egan, guitar and Irish song; Jeanne Chridon, tenor banjo; Jeff Thomas, Concertina; Alex Reidinger, harp and fiddle; Mike Simpson, fiddle, whistle, and bodhran; Matt McNeely, Uilleann Pipes. Participants in the Saturday workshops study tunes and techniques for instruments used in the Irish tradition, while mini-concerts offer an opportunity to hear and learn about Irish music in a casual setting - no experience required for mini concerts, just an interest for hearing and learning about Irish music.
