Toro Y Moi Concert

Toro Y Moi, the electronic psych-pop act helmed by producer, singer and songwriter Chaz
Bundick, is touring in support of their third full-length release, “Anything in Return.”
Written and recorded in the wake of a cross-country move from Bundick’s longtime home
here in South Carolina to Berkeley, Calif., “Anything in Return” continues to garner critical
praise. “The strong ‘Anything in Return,’ Mr. Bundick’s recently released third full-length
album...is by far the most muscular of his work,” says the New York Times. Tickets at

Spooktacular Night at the CMA
Saturday, October 19 | 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.
As darkness falls, the Museum transforms into a spooktacular place filled with ghosts, art,
music and goodies. Explore the galleries by taking a spooky-themed tour and participating
in a haunted gallery hunt, as well as creating Halloween art. Buy a burger for dinner from
the Pawley’s food truck and, at the stroke of 7:00, enjoy a performance by Lunch Money
followed by a trip to the Garden of Curiosities. $20 per family / Free for members.
Baker & Baker Presents The Art of Music: Carolina Cellobration
Saturday, October 26 | 2:00 p.m.
The Jesselson/Fugo Duo, Robert Jesselson, cello and Charles Fugo, piano has been
delighting audiences with their impeccable ensemble playing and the rich literature for cello
and piano. Produced as part of the 30th anniversary celebration of the Jesselson/Fugo Duo,
“Carolina Cellobration: New Music for Cello,” includes works commissioned for the duo
by six composers. The composers are current or emeritus faculty members of the School
of Music at the University of South Carolina, where the duo is in residence. Composers
include Reginald Bain, Samuel Douglas, Gordon “Dick” Goodwin, Tayloe Harding,
Bert Ligon and John Fitz Rogers. All the composers are from the Carolinas. Free with
membership or admission.
CMA Chamber Music on Main
Music plus art equals a magical experience with this critically acclaimed chamber concert
series featuring world-renowned artistic director Edward Arron and intimately set in the
Museum’s gorgeous DuBose Poston Reception Hall. The Museum Shop and the first-floor
galleries will be open during the cocktail hour before each concert.Presented by U.S. Trust.

Todd Palmer, Amy Schwartz Moretti, Aaron Boyd, Dimitri Murrath and Edward
