A LETTER FROM OUR CHAIRMAN
What a fantastic year it has been for Classroom of Hope. Over the past
12 months we have seen our largest ever increase in donations received
that has delivered life changing impact through education to many children
and their host communities in developing countries.
This increase in donations received coincides with our ongoing and
determined focus to advance our mission and is testament to the
dedication, passion and commitment of our hard-working team who have
worked as one to realise this fantastic result. We are truly grateful for the
leadership and contributions of our Management team led by Founder
and CEO Mr Duncan Ward and their relentless focus on raising the bar in
everything that is done to ensure effective and efficient operations.
Importantly, we could not have achieved this outcome had it not been for
the support and belief shown in us by our valued partners and donors who
are integral to delivering this impact. This support is most appreciated
and we value their contributions as being essential to our journey.
This year has seen a continued advancement of our mission through the
Board aligning on our strategic direction, enhancing our governance and
risk management practices, having clear accountabilities and supporting
the transformation of many facets of our organisation. Collectively, these
efforts see us well placed as we progress towards achieving sustainability.
As we look towards the year ahead, we will continue to build on our
foundations and further optimise our operating model to maximise the
impact we can deliver to children. Through our passion for making a
difference, I have no doubt that Classroom of Hope, in collaboration with
our partners and donors, will continue to further advance our mission and
deliver life changing impact that spans future generations.
