TAFE Students
to Face Their
Future
The Kingscliff TAFE
‘Diploma in Specialist
Makeup’
students
have submitted their
final assessments and
are ready to face
their future in this exciting industry.
Elisa Stefanovic, teacher of specialist
makeup, says she is amazed by the
progress and growth of her students over
the last 9 months.
“These
students
have
challenged
themselves throughout the course and
pushed the boundaries with their final
works. In many cases their work would rival
those produced by experienced makeup
artist currently working in the industry,” says
Ms Stefanovic.
The specialist makeup students’ final
creative piece, were to represent a
culmination of all the skills they had
developed over the course.
Diploma student, Nicolette Salisbury
says the intimate class size created an
environment of mutual respect where
students benefited immensely from the
personalised attention they received.
“We are so incredibly lucky to be taught by
someone of Elisa’s calibre who is so highly
respected with the makeup industry. She
is a very inspiring teacher whose extensive
knowledge has given us the confidence
to enhance our creative ability,” says
Nicolette Salisbury.
Elisa recently worked as a hair and
makeup artist on Angelia Jolie’s latest film
‘Unbroken’.
“Through my industry contacts, two of
my high achieving students have been
selected for work placement with Channel
Nine in Sydney,” adds Ms Stefanovic.
