TRAVEL
It has been a
great month for
ship inspections
with Cunards’ Queen Mary II,
MSC Orchestra and P & O’s Arcadia all
calling into Brisbane recently.
From Brisbane the Queen Mary II headed
for Sydney where she crossed paths
with the equally elegant Queen Victoria
on their world voyages - a bucket list item
for man of us! It was very tempting to stay
onboard.

MSC Orchestra was welcomed by the
QLD Minister for Transport as this was
the first time an MSC ship had visited
Australian shores. We were privileged
with a special presentation of the
onboard entertainment in the form of
their “Gotham” stageshow and some
enthusiastic Italian hospitality.
P & O’s Arcadia arrived via San Francisco
and the Pacific Islands before heading
off towards Southampton. We were
treated to a delicious three-course lunch
and had an opportunity to inspect her
good size cabins and experience the
friendly and relaxed on board life.
All these ships docked at Fisherman’s
Island, not the usual Hamilton Wharf
so Business Class Transfers were able to
arrange transfers to/from the Gold Coast
for our passengers lucky enough to be
heading off on their dream voyages.
