ALUMNI NIGHT
UK Homecoming offered the perfect
opportunity for alumni, students and their
families to reunite with friends, colleagues,
faculty and staff at the first-ever College of
Education STEM Alumni Night (STEM stands
for science, technology, engineering and math).
The event, which will be held annually, was
hosted by the See Blue STEM Club and the
Department of STEM Education. More than
55 attended the event on the front lawn of
the Taylor Education Building on the Friday
evening before the homecoming game. Those
in attendance enjoyed a barbecue dinner, silent
auction, photo booth, awards presentation
and the opportunity to purchase college
shirts. Additionally, seven attendees purchased
an engraved brick for the Taylor Education
Building courtyard revitalization project.
