6.5 Key Direction 4: Promote Cochrane as a Great Place to Live
The Town will develop projects, partnerships and marketing materials to facilitate and support
population stability and a better quality of life. The projects that will help promote Cochrane as a
great place to live include:
4.1 Build on prior attraction campaign to encourage families to live in Cochrane.
4.2 Consider all ages when improving amenities.
4.3 Enhance the municipal communication efforts.
4.4 Implement Seniors’ Housing Project Plan.
6.6 Key Direction 5: Maintain Tourism Infrastructure
Cochrane will maintain and incrementally enhance existing tourism infrastructure with the goal of
enticing visitors to “stay another day.” Projects under this strategic theme include:
5.1 Leverage the Cochrane Brand.
5.2 Maintain and enhance current tourism infrastructure.
