CD Montesinos FC supporters club the
'Full Monte' New President Eddie
Cagigao, and striker Wallace, exclusively
talked to Andrew Atkinson last week. Los
Montesinos based football club CD
Montesinos have aspiring ambitions,
hopefully with the backing of the local
council, as the Alicante based outfit enter
a new era. “With the newly appointed
manager Roberto in place, the club is
currently on a high. There's a new buzz in
the town. We thank everybody that has
helped the club and hopefully that will
continue in the future. From the 'Full
Monte' point of view we will continue to
help,” said Eddie.
The Regional 2 league club attracted
nearly 300 supporters for the home
fixture last weekend in a 2.1 win against
RP Orihuela A. “We are one of the best
supported clubs in the lower leagues in
Spain,” said Howard Yeats, a stalwart of
the 'Full Monte' supporters club. CD
Montesinos have also appointed a newly
elected club President in Philippe and
with his leadership they have ambitions
to erect a new stand.
