We had no time to get even a little comfortable with each other before going into the casting room. We stated our names
and had to jump right into the make out session. And they had us do the scene three times! By the time we were done, he
had makeup ALL over his face. And I'm black so you can imagine the contrast of my foundation and lipstick all over his
face. It was a bit embarrassing, especially since he didn’t even know me. But we laughed as I tried to wipe all of my makeup
from his face. I continued to laugh at myself while I drove to the next casting. Just another day in the life! I wouldn't trade
it for anything.”
Inspired by strong, confident, hard-working women, Phoenix strives to support her peers. “Some girls can get jealous
and catty when another is doing well in life, but I don't. I get excited and feel like I need to be doing more and striving for
greater things. People building and lifting each other up is so important, especially us females.”
Where should we expect to see Phoenix ten years from now? “Hopefully, I'm very healthy and fit. I'll have a successful
show on cable as well as a successful clothing company. Which I'm barely getting started now, so I imagine in ten years
it will have sky-rocketed. I would honestly also love to be married with a beautiful healthy child. Sounds simple enough,
right? I’m planting the seeds now so by then, or even sooner perhaps, I'll be living my dream life!”
Phoenix is someone to watch as she will inevitably achieve great success in the years to come.
