Friday Afternoon Activities Program
Music Performance
This activity caters for those students who would like to have
more time to practice and become adept at their instruments.
The sessions generally involve some unstructured practice
time, some structured activities in the forms of master classes
and ensembles, some visiting artists and other activities
guaranteed to make you a better performer on your chosen
instrument. There are visiting ensembles and accompanists to
assist with examination/performance preparation and plenty of
time to explore, create links with other musicians and work
on your own thing, whether that be songwriting, composition
or even multi-media performance techniques.
2018 will also see the introduction of small “pop-up”
ensembles that will prepare jazz and contemporary choral
and vocal pieces of their own selection for a Choral Concert.
