Frank Buresh, Resident of the Month Frank Buresh was born in 1933 to George and Anna Buresh. Frank was a only child. He grew up on a farm where they had a dairy operation. Frank attended Hickory Point School. As a child, Frank was often very ill. “This made me work harder,” states Frank. “All the hard work made me strong.” Throughout his childhood, Frank worked right along side his parents on the family farm in Morrisville. As a member of the Sacred Heart Frank Buresh Church, Frank has always been very active in their programs. If he wasn’t working on the farm with his parents, he was helping out with the church. After the death of his father, Frank and his mother relocated to a small house in Bolivar. To make extra money , and fill up his free time, Frank started mowing lawns. As his mother aged, Frank took care of her until, unfortunately, she passed away. Frank is known for his miniature farms and railroads he spent hours perfecting. His living room was an endless, miniature country side. Frank enjoys scrapbooking and has a love for John Deer tractors and their history. Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility, Frank enjoys playing bingo, exercise, music, men’s lunches, kids club and outdoor events. Congratulations Frank on being chosen as the Resident of the Month for August.
