The center is a 13-bed, not-for-profit hospital located in DeWitt. The hospital provides a full range of services in medicine, surgery, coronary care, and pediatrics. Other services include out-patient surgery, 24 hour emergency care, laboratory, x-ray, and county-wide am- bulance service. Attached to the hospital is Westwing Place, a 77 bed intermediate care facility. Westwing is known for its excellent care of the elderly. CGH Medical Center is an acute care facility located in the Rock River Valley region of Northern Illinois which opened in 1909. It employs more than 900 people and has a medical staff of 114 physicians specializing in 35 areas of medicine. The facility’s inpatient services include a 36-bed medical unit, a 29-bed surgical unit, 10 birthing center suites, 6 pediatric beds, and an 18 CCU/ICU/Biotelemetry beds. Outpatient ser- vices include a state-of-the-art Cath Lab and a CAP accredited laboratory. Diagnostic imaging services include a 64-ring CT scanner, nuclear medicine with SPECT scanning, ultrasound, dedicated mammography including digital mammography, and an in-house, high field MRI. Other departments and services include: a neurology laboratory, a GI laboratory and nutritional support, pain management, pharmacy, and respiratory ther- apy. In addition, CGH offers an ambulatory surgical center, a Digestive Disease Center, physical and occupational ther- apy, a diabetic education department, a wound care center, pre-hospital paramedic level EMS, and a 24-hour trauma ready emergency department. Jackson County Regional Health Center 700 West Grove Street | Maquoketa, IA 563-652-2474 | www.genesishealth.com/jacksoncounty Jackson County Regional Health Center is a 25 bed Joint Commission accredited critical access hospital offering a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, emergency and commu- nity health services. JCRHC has dedicated and experienced physicians and health professionals on its medical staff. There are seven family physicians, one full time general surgeon, one physician assistant and one advanced registered nurse practitioner. The staff also includes a large variety of medical specialists from neighboring cities who provide regular out- reach clinics at JCRHC. With two main campuses, MercyOne operates 249 licensed beds. Services include a Radiation Oncology Center in affiliation with the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, two cardiac catheterization labs, renal dialysis and a trauma center.
