Contributors GET TO KNOW OUR COLUMNISTS AND CONTRIBUTING WRITERS! TERRY CHECK, a passionate but not too serious lover of art and fashion, travels the world to art openings and fashion shows always looking for a good story and a little fun. Whether it’s Art Basel in Miami or fashion week in Paris, he explores the collaboration of art and fashion from the 1920's to conceptual, sometimes understanding the work, and other times having no idea whether it’s fine art/fashion or child’s play. A native of upstate New York, he shares his perspective about contemporary art and fashion of emerging artists to industry icons. Multi-facetted as an artist/writer/photographer, his work is widely exhibited in the USA, represented by the Fay Gold Gallery and Chic – Evolution in Art, and is published in Mode Lifestyle, Fashion Xchange, Le Style and of course, Cliché. He says, “Let’s enjoy art and fashion together, gaining a better understanding of the artist’s message or dial ogue with the viewer. Finding the message is sometimes difficult, and at times there is no message but our interpretation.” [email protected] MARINA ANDERSON has been a performer since the age of thirteen, a personal manager since 1995, and a publicist for more years than she wants to admit. She is also a published author. Her bestselling memoir was released a few years ago and, as a personal manager, she has guided many careers, including actor David Carradine, who she was married to. Some of her past and current publicity clients include actor/composer (and still a heartthrob of many), Robby Benson, actor-environmentalist Ed Begley, Jr. and his wife Rachelle, music icons Alan Parsons and Gary U.S. Bonds, and many others in the entertainment industry. “There’s more business than ‘show’ in entertainment,” she says. “It’s changed greatly from when I first started out. One of my missions in my association with Cliché as an Entertainment Contributing Columnist is to be a sounding board and ‘information central’ for readers to help guide and move people closer to their goals. I’m looking forward to bringing readers entertaining information to create empowerment and transformation.” [email protected] STACEY CAMACHO has been a certified makeup artist for over five years.
