I don ’ t know what happened , but it seems like a moment ago I was standing backstage at New York Fashion Week in February , and now it is nearly Christmas . While planning this holiday issue , I couldn ’ t believe how quickly this past year has gone by . I owe that , in part , to a very busy schedule , lots of collaborations , and video games . Yes , video games . Thank you , Nintendo , for keeping me sane during this emotional Election Year .
Although 2016 did have some rough patches , what I enjoyed most of all was getting to work with some of the kindest and talented people I have ever met . I was honored to go backstage at NYFW FW16 and get the scoop on all the trending hairstyles , makeup tricks , and nail art . I was excited to check out Lauren Cecchi New York ’ s gorgeous bag collection up close as well as speak at AmeriChina ’ s New Wave of Fashion Design Pioneer in New York City as a guest panelist . For months I got to work with some seriously talented designers who will be doing big things in the new year , and I am now looking forward to what 2017 will bring .
Our cover stars , the handsome Jack Griffo and beautiful Jenna Ortega , are also looking forward to the new year . If you aren ’ t familiar with these rising stars just yet , then turn to page 110 and see what they ’ ve got planned .
