WIN AN MTC SUN LOUNGER – COURTESY OF FENSA Not MTC compliant? Get ready to lounge around this summer... A lot of installers are praying for good weather this year – because they will have increased leisure time in which to enjoy it. Any installers that are not compliant with the government’s Minimum Technical Competencies (MTCs) by June 6 risk not being able to continue to self-certify with any of the glazing Competent Person Schemes (CPS). So they won’t be working – unless they go through LABC. How to win: It’s still not too late to get MTC compliant – visit www.fensa.org.uk/mtc NOW. c) 26 June 2014 To help them enjoy this unexpected holiday FENSA has 5 beautiful sun loungers to give away. To win just email the answer to the question below to email@example.com What is the date that all installers of replacement windows and doors in domestic properties have to be compliant with government MTCs? a) 6 June 2014 b) 16 June 2014 T&Cs: This competition is open only to non-MTC compliant installers/surveyors (well it wouldn’t be fair to allow MTC compliant installers to enter – they won’t have any leisure time this summer what with all the extra work they will be doing). Full T&Cs are on the FENSA website. WARNING All glazing CPSs say you must be compliant with the new government MTCs to continue to self-certify. Deadline: 6 June 2014. It is not too late to get the FENSA MTC card* – BUT YOU NEED TO ACT NOW. VISIT: www.fensa.org.uk/mtc *The FENSA MTC card is operated by GGF Training Ltd and quality assured by the GQA.
