fensterbaufrontalepreview fensterbau/frontale & GGF join forces for international trade show In a groundbreaking move, NürnbergMesse, organisers of fensterbau/frontale have joined forces with the UK’s Glass & Glazing Federation (GGF) for this international event which will take place this month in Nuremberg. Many members and staff of the GGF have visited fensterbau/frontale in the past, but this close co-operation will help stimulate trading relationships between the UK and the global window market. All companies attending are invited to join the GGF on their UK pavilion stand to discuss industry issues and network with colleagues and friends from around the world. Elke Harreiß, Project Manager of fensterbau/ frontale commented: “Many companies from the UK fabricating windows, doors, conservatories and curtain walls are visitors here at fensterbau/frontale in Nuremberg. Installers are also present at the show. True industry innovations are launched by manufacturers of components and hardware at fensterbau/frontale. So, when the British fabricators and manufacturers come to Nuremberg as visitors in March, they will hear fresh ideas straight from the ‘horse’s mouth’ which they then can bring home and introduce to the UK market.” REHAU WELCOMES UK VISITORS TO FENSTERBAU REHAU’s UK Chief Executive Martin Hitchin will be at Fensterbau this year emphasising the continuing importance of the exhibition to the UK market. Alongside Martin will be Business Team Manager Chris Tudgay, Product Manager Sarah Hitchings and Technical Manager Mike Hart. They will guide UK visitors around the vast REHAU stand (4A123/225), giving them a glimpse of some of the developments and innovations which could potentially find their way into the UK market. After Fensterbau in 2012, for example, REHAU responded to the level of interest shown in its Nordic Design Plus flush fitting window system by adding it to the portfolio of systems available here. This time, a top swing Nordic Design Plus window in anthracite grey targeted at both the UK and Scandinavian markets will feature within the international zone on REHAU’s stand, alongside a window in the 70mm REHAU TOTAL70C system. Martin added: “We hope as many UK customers as possible will visit and be inspired not just by the products on display but by the sheer scale and ambition of the event.” The VEKA UK Group returns to Fensterbau The VEKA UK Group is exhibiting at the world-renowned Fensterbau exhibition for the third consecutive time.
