Having enjoyed a
successful event at last
year’s Ecobuild, Synseal
will be returning to the
ExCeL exhibition centre
in London’s Docklands
for Ecobuild 2014, taking
place on 4th-6th March.
The objective will be to demonstrate how
Synseal PVC-U window profiles have been
designed to be as environmentally-friendly
as possible, including multi-chambered
designs and plastic thermal reinforcement
(PTR) specification options for Legend,
SynerJy and Shield systems.
Featured at the show on stand N108
will be high performance insulated triple
glass units which, when configured with
Synseal multi-chamber profiles can deliver
a U-value of 0.7W/m2K, a window
constructed of 100% recycled PVC-U
material, and a popular Evolve vertical
sliding sash – often specified for newbuild market applications and projects
in conservation areas – which has been
designed to make it easier for contractors
to construct energy efficient homes with
traditional good looks.
Synseal’s exhibition team at Ecobuild
2014 will be headed up by Bruce
Manning, the New Build Business
Development Manager, and Brian Walker,
the Fabricator Development Manager,
both of who are experienced commercial
specification sales specialists.

GREEN DEAL”

Paul Joyner, Director of Sustainability for
the Travis Perkins Group, has stated that the
leading exhibition, Ecobuild, presents the
ideal opportunity for installers, contractors,
and industry peers to unite and get behind
the Green Deal.
Following the Government’s recent dilution
of the Energy Company Obligation (ECO),
Sustainable Building Solutions (SBS), a division
of the Travis Perkins Group, is stressing the
importance of supporting the Green Deal and
recognising the positive work completed since
its launch at the start of 2013.

Paul commented: “The Green Deal has been
widely criticised in the tabloid press, mainly
due to the time it has taken for consumers
to sign up to the initiative, but demand has
been vast; more than 100,000 Green Deal
assessments are testament to that. This hugely
ambitious scheme is now reliant on the industry
coming together and taking responsibility for
moving it forward.
“Ecobuild is the ideal platform for the Travis
Perkins Group to demonstrate its own support
of the Green Deal whilst communicating
the services that SBS has developed to assist
contractors looking to take advantage of the
scheme.”
