CONSERVATORIES IN BRIEF UK consumer prices inflation held steady at 2.7% in December, official figures have shown.A rise in electricity and gas prices was offset somewhat by a fall in fuel costs and air transport, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said. The CPI rate of inflation has been above the Bank of England’s 2% target since November 2009. Retail prices index (RPI) inflation, which includes housing costs, edged up to 3.1% last month from 3% in November. The figures were broadly in line with analysts’ expectations. It was the third month in a row that the CPI rate has come in at 2.7%. By far the largest upward effect comes from domestic gas and electricity. Electricity prices were up 3.9% compared with December 2 vRv2&6W2vW&RR"RvW"vFW7BvVV2FvVFFRG&GV7FbFRURF&W"&VwVFFR7&B&6FRF&W"G&FRfVFW&F2V&Ɨ6VBgW'FW"ƖRWFFRFV&Vg&W6B&V֖BFRvFW"GW7G'bFR6FF2bFR&VwVFBFV"&ƖvF2vFFBFR'&VfrFR&fFW2V&W'2vF'&Vb7V'bFRW7V7G2bFRUUE#WFFR&V6VBFWfVVG3BWFFRbFREDn( 2vGVRFƖvV6R77FVFR&W76&RW&66rƖ7%FR#2Ɩ6V֖Vg&VBvFw2Ǘ622r&VV&VV6VBǗ6rB&FrFRT( 2FV֖Vg&VBvFw26W2fWrWfFw2g&FR&W'B6VFSCr6W2&Rf6FvW"Bv7G'VvvRF7W'ffScr6W2&RFVFfVB2W6VVB7V6FF&vWG3RF&Bb6W2&Rr72vrFFV6R6WFFFR#2VFFbFR&W'BǗ6W2V66FWFfW"GvvW2'WBV662fVVBFWfW'6fVGW&VBFR&W'B2&FVBG2GG&7FfVW7227V6F6vrBv6RFR&W7B&7V7G2FR&WBwwrƖ66V( #2Ɩ6V֖Vg&VBvFw2Ǘ622r&VV&VV6VN( V&W'2666W72FRWFFVB'&VfrFR'6Ɩ6rFRfvrƖ波GGwwrGFb6V'F6RFWF7'F6UVCc##dCS3SDc##cR#S3c$d3DTd"44U%dD$U2$dDrB4ĔDrD%2D4TB$D$tDu0V"vFVvW'2V7F7FFV6RvW&f&6Rv72FVƗfW'F2ffRV"v'&GgVFV66&WFrBgFW"6W27W'@F&V7Bff"VFF32#csFfBWBvR6VBffW"W"7W7FW'2V&ƖG<*FVw&&ƖG26W2r"66FR"6FR6FRࠥFVâ2#srs#"Vâv&Wv726Vg&Р&Wv72bvrƖ֗FVBVB#r֖6r&GW7G&W7FFR֖6r&G&fRVVG23PdT"#0F&VB&Rf6Bwwr6V'fWrV6Р
