NEW INVESTMENT
MEANS NEW
SERVICE LEVELS
Multi Fab Ltd, the fabrication
arm of EAG, has a hard
earned and well established
reputation across the UK for
the fabrication of architectural
aluminium systems providing
the highest level of expertise,
quality and reliability to its ever
expanding customer base.
The business has provided a
complete fabrication service to
the construction industry for
aluminium window, door and
curtain walling for the past 25
years and, with its new and
significant £500,000 CNC
machining centre investment,
hopes to continue this on for
another 25 years or more.
The business has 67 full time
fabricators across two factories,
one factory in Mildenhall Suffolk
and the other in Attleborough
Norfolk. The business is
well geared for high volume

fabrication, which attracts
many main contractors for their
large scale building projects.
In addition to the aluminium
window, door and curtain
walling fabrication, Multi Fab
also provides sheet metalwork
manufacturing, producing
many of the powder-coated
and anodised panels that can be
seen on building façades across
the country and particularly in
London.
The company has recently been
employed by Mount Anvil as
specialist subcontractor to provide
feature cladding and associated
elements to the building’s façade
as part of a new build residential/
commercial project on Union
Street, London. The scheme,
spread across three buildings,
focuses on providing 85 new
homes with an additional 279sqm
of commercial space.
Charlie Dyce, Business
Development Director of EAG,
said “We have built a strong
working relationship with MA
and their architect over a lengthy
period in developing this scheme
and are delighted to be able to
bring it to fruition, the quirky
MGM design will make this a
landmark building in Southwalk,
and another we are pleased to add
to our portfolio”.
Work has already commenced
on site and is expected to be
completed early in 2014.
Way back in 1998, Mildenhall
based façade contractor EAG
was the first fabricator in the UK
to invest in a combined routing
and sawing CNC machining
centre from specialist Italian
CNC machine tool manufacturer
Emmegi.
This investment helped propel
EAG to one of the most capable
facades contractors in the UK
enhancing component accuracy
and doubling production capacity.
EAG’s fabrication arm, Multi Fab
Ltd, has just commissioned this
latest investment from Emmegi,
