John, who is based in Greenock, will be developing business for UAP and its retail brand MAX6MUM SECURITY® in Scotland. Having worked in the fenestration industry for eight years and with builders’ merchants prior to that, John is the perfect choice to grow UAP’s presence in Scotland. AVOCET INVESTS TO BE THE BEST The Jain family has invested a further £2.1million in Avocet Hardware – taking the total invested since it bought the Brighouse-based company out of administration in February 2012 to £10.6million.
