ELLANOR WINDOWS CHOOSES MILA
PROSECURE MULTI POINT LOCK
Ellanor Windows in Bridlington, East
Yorkshire, has become the latest company to
switch to the new Mila ProSecure multi-point
door lock for all of its PVC doors.
The Swish fabricator, which supplies trade and
retail customers throughout East Yorkshire and
beyond, says the new Secured by Design lock
meets the quality and performance standards of
the lock it was using previously but at a more
competitive price.
A key benefit for Ellanor in using the ProSecure
solution is that it can now offer customers a
complete Mila solution on its doors – from the
multi-point door lock to the ProSecure door
handle and the ProStyle letter box.
This, the company says, is a positive message
in both the trade and retail markets where the
quality, design and finish of the Mila products
and the power of the Mila brand helps to win
business.
Ellanor has been using the ProSecure lock for
three months and during that time has been
impressed both with how easy it is to fabricate
and how easy it is adjust on site if required.

Cutting edge Yale Blade Window
Locking now available from Sealco
Sealco, one of the largest independent
hardware distributors in the UK, is amongst
the first to stock Blade, a new cutting edge
technology window locking system from Yale
that is set to take the industry by storm and
make manufacturing quicker and windows
more secure.
With revolutionary design, the Blade espag
is a fully retractable window lock that sits flush
within the Eurogroove and allows fabricators
and installers to easily place the keep in any
position removing the potential for error
when aligning cams and keeps. Frames can
be pre-drilled for keep alignment to reduce
manufacturing time even further.
The Blade lock rotates into place compressing
the gasket consistently to improve weather
performance over the life of the window. Blade
will also last. Tested to over 30,000 cycles, it
comes with a 12 year guarantee.
The Yale Blade lock connects along the full
length of the keep so there’s no cam clash.
This also offers greater security. The integral
strength of Blade can allow some systems to
achieve PAS24 security without additional
reinforcement.

option as they eliminate the intrusive swing
door.
Sliding doors accommodate larger opening
sizes allowing pupils who use walking aids or
wheelchairs to use the school’s facilities with
independence and confidence.
Leaves of the College system can fold to one
or both sides of an opening and can be stacked
behind a reveal if required, enabling a space to
be completely transformed with no disruption.
P C Henderson products are designed to be
easily installed and maintained.
