is based in West Yorkshire and operates from two
premises. A large old mill complex in Queensbury
and a factory unit in Brighouse. Fabricating a
complete range of bespoke Aluminium and Pvcu
products including bi-folding doors, sliding patios,
residential and commercial doors, using Smarts
Architectural Aluminium or energy rated, quality
Liniar PVCu Profile.
The company originally manufactured and
supplied Pvcu to the local trade but decided to
diversify and manufacture aluminium around
5 years ago. Due to the popularity and quality
of our products and service we now supply
nationwide. The reason behind the choice to
fabricate Smarts Architectural Aluminium was
predominantly due to the product being industry
recognised and the fact that it is a quality,
affordable system. Regular customers find that
within the system’s vast array of aluminium
products there is always something available that
meets their clients and architect’s requirements.
The newest addition to the Whiterose range is
another aluminium product, this time it is a new
creation from Liniar, who have in the past only
manufactured Pvcu. Liniar’s Alumina product is a
true aluminium bi-folding door system, beautifully
sculptured and foiled to match perfectly with
the full Liniar product suite. Alumina can achieve
u-values as low as 1.2W//m²K with its sleek lines
and greater efficiency it offers the best of both
worlds.
This year, after adding an additional ?sqm of
factory space in Queensbury, the company has
managed to improve lead times on its aluminium
range, whilst still remaining competitive in the
current market with its transparent pricing. Tony
Smith, owner of Whiterose Windows comments.
“We expanded the factory space in January of
this year, to help improve our Aluminium lead
times and with the increased space and further
employment of staff, we have seen a significant
improvement in the last few months on our
standard coloured aluminium bi-fold doors. Our
lead time for PVCu especially the Liniar Modlok
bi-folding door has always been very quick within
the market place and we wanted to achieve this
with our aluminium products too”.
He goes on to add “As a business, we operate
to economies of scale rather than relying on big margins. This allows us to offer our products at
very competitive prices, for example we have
fixed prices for all our standard aluminium bi-fold
sets, regardless of configuration”
Whiterose Windows originally began by selling
to local tradespeople and hope that they have
managed to maintain the personal and direct
approach to customer service. As the company
has expanded, the team has made a real effort to
maintain this local trade supplier approach, just
on a much bigger scale.
The company offers its own nationwide
delivery service, thus ensuring that its goods
arrive in perfect condition, travelling as far down
the country as Devon and as far up as Scotland.
The revamp of the company website with its
more contemporary feel should highlight the
modern products Whiterose manufacturers,
a gallery of installation pictures is available to
peruse, so that customers can get a good idea of
what the products on offer look like in situ.

centre to discuss design options on projects.

expert image and reinforce good customer
service, and we already have lots of regulars
who are coming back again and again.

this way – to help installers and builders to win new business in the growing aluminium
sector.
“We continue to add new products to the

Centre. The latest additions are two samples
of the new Technic-AL Roof Lantern range.
We’ve put two angled display units into the
centre, so visitors can see the quality up close.
The roof kits are available next day in stock
sizes and colours, or in two weeks for bespoke
roof lanterns.”

Design Centre in Blackburn has been an
instant success for AluFoldDirect, with more
than 200 installers and builders coming
through the doors in the first few months
since opening.
“This is the only dedicated showroom
