MORE CHOICE THAN EVER Originally unveiled at FIT Show 2016, the new bi-fold doors are part of UK Fabrication’s extensive range of hardware, designed to complement existing installations while still providing a leap ahead in terms of style and specification. This comes after a period of exceptional investment and innovation for UK Fabrication. “In 2015, we invested over £3.8 million in fabrication machinery and new products,” explains Nick Kightley, Sales Director of Fabrication and Glass. “When it comes down to it, our customers ultimately want to be sure they’re getting nothing but the best. In addition to the already extensive options, we’re proud to give our customers more choice than ever, to help them sell more and grow their business.” Both doors are aimed at the homeowner who wishes to open up their living space easily and completely, effectively creating an open wall into the outside. Whether it’s for extra party space or just to feel the fresh air roll in, the bi-folds let in sunlight all year round and are easy to operate and install – the perfect way to increase and invigorate your living space. VERSATILE, OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE With two low threshold design options, the PVCu bi-fold doors are versatile and designed to suit any application. All doors come as Secured by Design as standard, in line with UK Fabrication’s emphasis on making security and customer peace of mind the highest priority. A mechanically jointed outer frame ensures that it’s easy to transport and install – minimising stress for both the installer and consumer. Each bi-fold excels in thermal performance. The aluminium door comes with 1.8 to 1.6 U-Value as standard, with a combination of double and triple glazed units. Perhaps the greatest benefit of the PVCu doors is their outstanding performance. A-Rated energy performance and 1.4 U-value comes with the 28mm glazing option, and 1.1 U-Value with 36mm. 30 » SE P 2016 » CL EARVI E W- UK .
