TEN YEAR
MILESTONE
FOR
MARKETING
MANAGER
» » CLARE WHITE, CARL F
Groupco’s Marketing Manager,
celebrates ten years working
for the national hardware
distributor. Her career with the
company has seen her progress
from Marketing Assistant to
Executive and, in 2014, she
was promoted to Marketing
Manager.
Career highlights have
included helping to establish
the organisation as a major
player in the UK’s hardware
distribution market. The
opportunity to launch
two brands have also been
significant landmarks – the
first was Carl F Groupco,
which followed the merger
of Groupco with Carl F, and
secondly, Clare played a key
role bringing SmartSecure
to market, which put the
company on the map as
pioneers in electronic door
locking and access control.
Commenting on her
objectives in managing the
marketing for Carl F Groupco,
Clare said:
“Rather than merely being
a promotional opportunity for
Carl F Groupco, our marketing
is produced as an extension of
our customer service to enable
easier purchasing decisions.
We are all about long standing
relationships with our customers
and manufacturing partners,
which gives us a client centric
focus and strong foundation to
continue to grow our business.”
» » WINDOW WIDGETS HAS
made a double sales appointment
with the introduction of Adrian
Clare as internal sales executive
and Tom Edwards as national
sales manager, for the company
that’s the largest supplier of bay,

to 1999, Window Widgets
has become the industry’s
brand of choice when it comes
to universal baypoles and
couplers, with many systems
carrying BBA certification and
fully CE marked for load-
bearing applications. These
new appointments will better
support the needs of customers
with expert advice from both
Adrian and Tom, working closely
together as a close-knit team and
supported by other members of
the business.
Sarah Hitchings, sales and
marketing director of Window
Widgets commented: “Getting
the right people is fundamental
for us as a business and we’re
delighted with the appointments
of both Adrian and Tom, who
have already made such a positive
impact with the customers. With
two people dedicated at the front
end we can better support needs
of our customers as a solutions
provider and we’re already close
