GLASS&SEALEDUNITS Glazing Specialist Improves Student Development Project Brookfield Multiplex have appointed English Architectural Glazing as specialist glazing sub-contractor to provide a mixture of high performance double glazed windows, doors and curtain wall as part of this multi million pound development. »»Located within the Bloomsbury Conservation Area at Kings Cross, Cartwright Gardens has been developed in to a major new 1,200 bedroom student residential scheme by University Partnerships Programme to create improved student halls for the University of London. The new building will be constructed from an in-situ concrete frame and brick-faced concrete cladding panels to all external elevations. The two new internal courtyards will have a render finish. Also included in the scheme will be the refurbishment of the existing private gardens and the existing 4 tennis courts. A BREEAM Excellent rating will be achieved incorporating a CHP unit and PV panels.
