INDUSTRYNEWS Change for the better Apex Conservatory Roof Systems in Liverpool has seen a fantastic rise in both sales and profit due to the new arrival of Sales Director Ashley Eckersley. »»Ashley says, “When I was given the opportunity to come and join Apex back in July, it was pretty obvious that the Guardian Warm Roof was going to be the backbone of the Company’s future success. To help with trade sales we have built a Guardian showroom attached to the premises. This facility is a fantastic sales tool for our local trade customers, not only does it give them a unique advantage to use for their own retail sales; it also helps them understand the Guardian concept from manufacture to the finished article. The showroom is available to any approved Guardian installer. All an installer needs to do to achieve approved installer status is register with Guardian and complete their training through Apex. “Following on from this then, our next step to help installers is to build a training facility on site, which is set to open this month. Historically, Guardian roof training has taken place onsite on a live job. At Apex’s new training facility however, installers can come on a day that suits them and train on a demo version on the factory floor so they are not working at height. There’s no need to worry about any mistakes and there’s ample opportunity to ask any questions. The demo roofs are already made in the different variations including P Shape and T Shape etc. These are the challenges they will meet regularly on site. After an installation company completes their training they will be entitled to become members of our Team Guardian Approved Installer Scheme. “There is so much naivety about this amazing product. The showroom and factory combined on the same site really has helped secure trade customers who were originally put off the idea of selling and installing a Guardian warm roof, fearing it was too complicated or too expensive to install.” For more information call 0151 5460516, email [email protected] or visit www.guardiansunroom.co.uk New graduates join Made For Trade after rapid growth Mark Cossins and Manying Siu »»Bi-fold door and conservatory roof company, Made For Trade has added three graduates to its team following expansion of their factory space.
