Manufacturing from the comprehensive range of systems from leading aluminium specialists Smart Architectural Aluminium, Nova supplies its customers for projects from £100 up to 100,000. “Since Nova was established in 2005 we have grown into a leading trade supplier, working out of 40,000 ft2 of floor space, using the most up-to-date machinery and are able to boast a wealth of experience within senior management, estimators, and fabricators alike. With over 50 staff the company prides itself on its industry knowledge and helpful approach to its customers. “We offer companies who manufacture PVC-U only an extension of their own workshop by manufacturing their aluminium requirements to the same high standards enabling them to take on aluminium orders without disrupting their normal workload. C O M service also assists companies who manufacture both aluminium and PVC-U but are at factory capacity. “We have invested not only in up-to-date machinery for the manufacturing of all the systems we offer, but also in a fleet of vehicles which include three specifically-designed curtain sided trucks, which have been commissioned to carry our fabricated goods safely. We believe that the best option to ensure that finished items are delivered on time and in perfect condition is to deliver them personally. That’s why 90% of deliveries are made on our own vehicles by our own drivers. Every vehicle is fitted with a tracking device which enables customers to be updated when their order is on route. “The choice of window options from Smart Aluminium Systems with their innovative designs offer a comprehensive range of aluminium options suitable for the architectural, commercial, public, new build, retail, heritage and domestic markets. They include all casements, tilt and turn, fixed lights, vertical sliders, sliding, parallel and heavy duty. Colour co-ordinated flat face aluminium panels are available manufactured using a solid warm core interior which is sandwiched between two aluminium sheets both at 2mm in thickness. “Fabricated louvered panels are also available which are commonly used with bin housings and boiler rooms where clean air flow is required, louvre panelled doors are now frequently used for installations such as computer server rooms where security is to be maintained whilst also allowing adequate air flow. Nova is also wholly certified to manufacture escape doors which are fully compliant to the current regulations. “Three sliding door systems are available with options for both the commercial and domestic markets. Depending on requirements the MC 600 can be either assembled on-site as a stick-built system, or alternatively part built from our factory.” New to Nova is our own designed Tongue and Grooved door panels which gives any entrance an alternative look from the usual manufactured panels available. Panels are created by using a 100mm ‘plank’, which can be used vertically, horizontally and even diagonally. Designed for use with the Alitherm Door all profiles have a high-performance thermal barrier. Planks can be used as full height door panels giving a spectacular visual or can incorporate mid rails to either half glaze or alter the panel design.
