The factory is described as the UK’s first fully reconfigurable assembly and component manufacturing facility for collaborative aerospace research. The 7,000sqm circular building is constructed largely from high performance glazing to showcase the advanced manufacturing technologies inside the Sheffield Business Park facility. Helping to create a multi-comfort solution, the finished glazing creates light, comfortable interior spaces resulting in an enhanced office space in which people can work comfortably and productively.
