Here are 7 things that you may find interesting about GT window Products Ltd… 1. STRONG FOUNDATIONS 2. BY THE LORRY LOAD GT Window Products Ltd was founded in 1993 by Graham Taylor, who created the business out of a small barn in Cheltenham. The initial product, GT Securi-Clip, sold 2,000 month to their first ever customer, Rydale Windows Ltd. That grew to 1 million clips a year across the industry and was the foundation of the business today. GT specialises in solution products for the window industry covering PVCu, Aluminium and Timber profiles and has served over 1000 individual customer accounts since 2008. Currently they have 12 products in total from security products, compression devices and fitting systems. In 2016 alone, GT Pressed 13.5 million metal parts, which equates to 376 tons of metal. That’s enough steel to fill 37 artic lorries of raw material in just one year. 3. BRINGING THEIR ‘A’ GAME a Grah 20 » M AY 2017 » CL EARVI E W- UK . C O M m General Manager Tony Hancock first arrived in the window industry in 1972 as a 19 year old salesman for Everest Double Glazing. Graham Taylor, the founder of GT Window Products, at the age of 17 joined the industry in 1974 as an office trainee for Indalex Ltd. Asa Turley, Technical Sales Manager, first started in the industry straight out of school. He joined Tony Hancock in 1994 where he began his career in R&D for Vinalex Systems Ltd. Andy Groves, Warehouse Manager, started in the industry in 1985 as a fabricator for Customade Ltd. Carl Taylor, the MD, joined the business in 2009 as the young apprentice to take over the reins from his father in years to come. Unfortunately, that came a lot earlier than planned when Graham sadly passed away suddenly in 2013. Between them they have over 147 years of experience in this industry and with the new appointment of Product Development Manager Wayne Hurdman, who came through the ranks of Fab and Fix, GT clearly have put together the A-team of the industry.
