Plastics System Limited has been
working closely with bi-folding door
hardware specialists, Debar Hardware to
create a unique bi-folding door system.
»»The new profile
system was created to support
APS’s fabricator cust omer based,
allowing them to develop their
range of aluminium products
further for the commercial
market.
The company, who has
extensive storage facilities at
its site in Lisburn, Northern
Ireland, created the AP300
system to compliment its
already popular AP 100
casement window, commercial
door and curtain wall systems.

The bi-fold range is made up
of the original Ultimate UPVC,
the Ultimate Aspect UPVC;
which offers the slimmest profiles
on the market or their Ultimate
Aluminium Bi-fold Doors and
gives customers the widest choice
of colours.
Sliders bi-folding doors
incorporate a number of
enhanced features, including
a unique multi-point locking
mechanism, high strength roller
design and security handle, all
of which have been extensively
tested and contribute to their
police commission approved
Secured by Design status.
Standard frame colours and
finishes include White, Anthracite
Grey Matt or Gloss or Black
Semi Gloss – or alternatively the
bespoke colour service allows you
to choose virtually any colour
from the 200 RAL shades.
There is a vast range of sizes
available to choose from and
openings of up to six metres wide
can be easily accommodated with
up to seven door panels, all which
