Another Great Opportunity
»»Innovative fabricator
Whiteline created a new UK market segment
after it launched its unique, 70mm-framed
PVCu “FlushSASH” Window and Door
designs in 2012.
The traditional look of timber, re-created
with all the benefits of modern materials, has
really struck a chord with savvy householders
with an eye for detail and retail installers with
an eye for extra sales potential.
Now Whiteline is opening up another
great new opportunity with a unique “Deep
Bottom Rail” feature, exclusively available
on its FlushSASH windows. At 95mm,
contrasting with the sta ndard 62mm width of
the side and top rails, the Deep Bottom Rail is
mechanically jointed to replicate the authentic
details and look of timber sashes.
FlushSASH windows with Deep Bottom
Rail can be fitted into either of two frame
options; the original 70mm slim frame or the
new and exclusive Whiteline 85mm Revival
frame to perfectly match the homeowner’s
needs.
Optimum security can be achieved on the
FlushSASH windows with Deep Bottom Rail
by calling up shootbolt locking and because
FlushSASH sashes are all internally glazed, they
can be supplied as unglazed, loose glazed or
factory glazed, to suit your installation needs.
First Flush
»»TruFrame believe they have
become the first company in the UK to offer
a Secured by Design accredited PVCu flush
sash window, using Liniar’s six-chambered
EnergyPlus sculptured 70mm outer frame,
with a four-chambered 50mm deep, flush
sash.
The Melton Mowbray based window and
door manufacturer has successfully tested its
new flush sash window, to meet the stringent
standards laid down by Secured by Design.
The importance of Secured by Design for
TruFrame’s new flush sash window is further
highlighted by the fact that this accreditation
is acceptable under the new approved

regulation relates to new dwellings only and
sates that windows must carry either PAS

of upgrading our testing facilities. The
shorter turnaround times between tests will
significantly increase our capacity, which in
turn will result in improved lead times for
our customers and help them reduce the time
taken to complete the development process
for new products.”
After a short period of calibration testing
and internal audits, the first client tests took
place at the end of March.
