Simon has over 15 years’ experience in agency PR and has represented business-tobusiness and business-to-consumer clients in sectors as diverse as construction and building materials, packaging, materials handling and legal services. His extensive account handling experience also includes managing integrated campaigns involving print and digital advertising, social media and e-marketing. In his new role, Simon will oversee all PR and communications activities for Balls2 Marketing’s growing client portfolio. The company’s previous Communications Director, co-founder Sarah Ball, now becomes Client Strategy Director to spearhead the company’s ambitious growth plans. Patrick has been CEO for over eleven years, during which Eurocell has continually expanded its product range and its own network of building plastics branches, which currently stands at over 140. The group has also invested significantly in recycling. Last year the company floated on the main market of the London Stock Exchange. Eurocell has named Bateman’s successor as Mark Kelly, currently Chief Executive of Grafton Merchanting GB. Kelly (55) previously worked for BDR Thermea, IMI and Novar. He has experience of the PVCu window and doors industry from earlier in his career with Duraflex and Celuform. Kelly will formally take over from July 1st 2016, after an initial handover period. Simon Monks marks his 9th year at VBH with a promotion to the position of Sales Director, Wales and Northern Ireland. Vince Kay takes over as Financial Director. Vince has a solid construction and civil engineering background and Mark Skudder, who has been responsible for all aspects of purchasing and warehousing since joining VBH in 2012, moves into the newly created position of Logistics Director. One of Mark’s first tasks as Logistics Director will be to oversee the implementation of the storage capacity expansion at VBH Gillingham over the first few months of 2016.
