INDUSTRYNEWS DEMAND FOR GARDEN IMPROVEMENTS DRIVES INSTALLERS TO THE STAND AT FIT SHOW » » A RECENT SURVEY BY HOUZZ UK found that 59 percent of homeowners are prioritising outdoor living and making substantial changes to their garden. This includes adding decking, upgrading fencing and installing garden rooms, with 67 percent pointing to low maintenance as the highest priority for garden improvement products. To help installers take advantage of this high demand for low maintenance garden improvements to win more business in the garden, Composite Wood Company ™ exhibited its Composite Wood decking, balustrade fencing and its new garden room – which includes a veranda – at FIT show last month. “We had a great response to the stand at FIT Show with lots of installers looking to add our low maintenance range of decking, fencing and garden rooms to their business,” says Tony Pratt, Sales Director Composite Wood Company. “We’re looking to help window installers get more work in the garden whilst they’re already on site fitting windows, doors and conservatories. Installers need to make sure they don’t leave their profit in the garden when fitting home improvement products. “90 percent of those surveyed by Houzz said that they were making lots of changes to their garden. Composite Wood garden rooms, decking and fencing are ideal for installers looking to get ahead of the demand. “Our new Composite Wood garden room is fully insulated and it’s low maintenance so it doesn’t need painting or staining and stays in great condition for years. It comes with colour matched corner posts for seamless design throughout and there are four great colours to choose from. “With added extras including lighting, flooring and electrics, installers can offer customers a fantastic range of layouts and designs for them to use their garden room however they want.” The latest addition to the range means a fast turnaround for garden rooms. It features unique click connectors for easy assemble and a new highly insulated, high strength roof design. “As well as low maintenance, high quality garden improvements, Composite Wood Company has a G Award-winning marketing package to support installation companies,” adds Tony. “Installers looking to take advantage of the demand for garden improvements who didn’t get the chance to attend FIT Show, should call us to find out more.” www.compositewoodcompany.co.uk WINNER OF THE QUEEN’S HONOURED UK AWARD » » THE QUEEN’S AWARDS winners were publicly announced by Her Majesty The Queen on Friday 21st April 2017 when UK leading manufacturer and supplier of insulated glass components - Thermoseal Group – were proclaimed winner of The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise: International Trade 2017.
