FIT SHOW 2016
INUNDATED WITH ENQUIRIES
»»Hardware manufacturer,
the Trojan Group, enjoyed an
‘outstanding’ FIT Show with the
team inundated with enquiries
throughout the busy three
days.
Tony Chadwick, Trojan’s
Group Managing Director said:
“Both existing and potential
customers were extremely
interested in our latest products,
the 2-star 25-year guarantee
high security door handle, the
Pegasus high security window
lock and the unveiling of our new
product, the 3D Slim Sightline
hinge. Trojan Group is one of
the biggest hardware names in
the industry and we’ve got an
enviable reputation for quality
and product innovation. That
said, customers still need to
see the products for themselves
to understand just how much
they have to offer. The FIT Show
was the perfect opportunity for
people to do that and we were
overwhelmed with the interest
we received.”
Trojan’s three latest products
attracted a lot of attention from
existing customers who already
understand the value that Trojan
can bring to a business. But
by far the biggest attraction
was the new 3D Slim Sightline
door hinge. Trojan chose the
FIT Show to unveil this new
product which is now available
to order. The heavily patented
3D Slim Sightline hinge offers
a slim, aesthetically pleasing
design with an unobtrusive
appearance.
The hinge offers easy,
accurate 3D adjustment with the
door in the closed position. The
hinge has already achieved PAS
24 accreditation and meets the
requirements of Document Q.
Trojan’s famous stainless steel
range also proved exceptionally
popular with both existing and
potential customers. All the
products in the range come
with a 25-year surface finish
guarantee, offering superb
corrosion resistance, something
that is becoming increasingly
important with our changeable
weather. Also on show was the
new World of Colour options
which are available on door flag
hinges. Available in a choice
of any RAL colour including
the popular anthracite grey,
Chartwell green and cream
finishes, the coloured hinges suit
all door applications to offer a
sleek, contemporary look.

LEGO®WINDOWDRAWSCROWDS
»»In a FIT Show packed with
product launches, one window
stood out. It may only be
available in one striking colour,
but it still drew queues of
fabricators and installers all
eager to find out the features and
benefits of this new system.
No, we’re not referring to a
new innovation from one of the
exhibiting profile companies,
we’re talking about the window
made from Lego® bricks by
industry marketing specialists
Purplex. As part of the agency’s
‘BuildOn.Different’ campaign,
which highlights the importance
of standing out in today’s busy
market place, Purplex placed the
orange profile made from Lego®
on a revolving platform and
invited the crowds to guess the
number of bricks – the closest
winning a weekend away at a
Hilton hotel.
The competition certainly got
people talking, and resulted in
over 1,000 show-goers visiting
the Purplex stand to learn more
about the wealth of services
the company offers, from PR
and design, to digital, email
marketing and video.
The company’s video wall
proved to be another major
draw – screening highlights from
slick and professional video
presentations made for highprofile clients including Yorkshire
based fabricator Dempsey Dyer,
composite door specialists Vista
and global hardware providers
Caldwell.
“More and more companies
are realising the benefits of
working with a full-service
marketing agency like Purplex,”
commented Purplex managing
director Andrew Scott. “We
spent a lot of time talking to
companies about the incredible
results you can generate if
you combine traditional print
marketing with online and video,
and our conversations have
resulted in several new clients,
all of whom are ambitious
businesses looking to grow.”
Winner of the Purplex
competition was Team Frames
Trade, who guessed that
the profile had 2,955 Lego®
bricks – only three short of
the actual total of 2,958.
