UNICORN LETTERPLATE UNVEILED

Leading hardware manufacturer , the Trojan Group , has once again enjoyed an outstanding FIT Show .
Tony Chadwick , Trojan ’ s Group Managing Director said , “ Customers were extremely interested in our latest products , the 2 Star High Security Stainless Steel Door handle , the Athena range of door hinges and the unveiling of our new product , the TS008 Document Q Unicorn Letterplate .”
The biggest attraction was the new TS008 Unicorn Letterplate . Trojan chose the FIT Show to showcase this new product , which is one of the industry ’ s few TS008 approved letterplates . The heavily patented
Stainless Steel Unicorn letterplate meets the requirements of TS008 , which means it can be used on doorsets that need to comply with the requirements of PAS24 : 2016 or Document Q of Building Regulations .
The TS008 Unicorn Letterplate has simple but elegant styling that will complement any doorface and is suitable for both composite and PVCu doors . It is available in a full choice of external finishes including Polished , Brushed and Satin Stainless Steel , PVD Gold , Black and White . The internal letterplate can be colour coded to match the door colour .

Smart home security was the focus for Yale at this year ’ s FIT Show , and this was a decision that proved to pay off as the stand scooped the award for ‘ Best Stand Under 80m2 ’ at the FIT Show Awards .
The security experts showcased their exciting range of connected security products on stand , as well as presenting a seminar slot which saw Neil Vann , Market Regional Manager at ASSA ABLOY UK , discuss future trends in home automation . Paul Atkinson , Sales & Commercial Director for Yale , commented : “ We always support our customers at the FIT Show , however the main reason we decided to take a stand ourselves this year was to showcase our exciting range of connected security products , with the aim of inspiring our customers to consider how they can create business models taking advantage of this trend .”
Paul continues : “ The appetite for smart products amongst homeowners provides fabricators , installers , retailers and housebuilders with an opportunity to invest in new door and window products that will open up lucrative new revenue streams and position their offering at the forefront .
