Product Solutions is celebrating
a number of new contract wins
which has boosted turnover
by a remarkable 60%, rising
from £2.2m to £3.5m in its last
financial year.
After securing a number
of high profile contracts wins
with house builders such as
Persimmon, Taylor Wimpey,
Larkfleet, Harron Homes and
Gleeson the company is also
boasting a £11m order book.
Other key milestones for the
business include; extension of
its premises to house a new glass
plant, purchase of a new liveried
vehicle fleet, launching a bespoke
software system and celebrating
a key member of staff’s being
awarded the ‘first female
Business Person of the Year’ by
the Barnsley and Rotherham
Chamber of Commerce.
Lynne Darwin, sales director
and nominated for the award,
commented: “The growth
of our business reflects the
investment and effort which
we have made during the last
year. This pace is set to continue
over the next twelve months
as the construction industry
flourishes.
“We currently have an £11
million order book, which will
mean further recruitment and

Investment marks
30 years in Business
»»A County Durhambased Halo Approved Fabricator
and Installer is marking its 30th
year in business with a move to
new, larger premises near Chesterle-Street.
BMW Windows was
established in 1985, with
founders Bent, Murphy and
Wilkinson lending their initials
to the company name. Its current
executive team – John and Debbie
Jefferson and their sons, John and
Andrew – took over the running
of the company in 1997-98, with
John Snr. leaving his accountancy
job to branch out in business
alone.
He commented: “It’s not often
that you come across a double
glazing company celebrating
its 30th year in business. We’re
proud to have reached this
milestone – testament to our
hard work, determination and
commitment to supplying systems
of the highest quality.
“We have invested more than
£300,000 in the new showroom
and factory, it’s created the
capacity we need to sustain our
growth, with turnover increasing
by 22% over the past three years
and no signs of it slowing!”

Another Successful Winner
