PROUD SPONSOR OF DOORS & WINDOWS
DOORS&WINDOWS
By George – the new trend for bars
» » LEADING MANCHESTER BASED
fabricator, Force 8 has noticed a rising trend in
customers wanting Georgian bars within their
products, whether windows or even stable
doors.
Dennis Sumner, Managing Director
comments: “Adding Georgian bars to any of
your products also adds character your home.
If you are looking for a traditional feel to your
contemporary home, then this is a simple
yet effective option from The Georgian Bar
Company.”
Georgian bars are fitted between the two
panes of glass, giving the overall impression
of separate panes of glass. The one continuous
glazed unit, keeps the cost low, as well as being
low maintenance.
“Each Georgian bar is tailored to you and
your product to ensure that it suits the style
of home. This is a type of style that has never
gone out of fashion, allowing the Georgian
features to be influenced within other homes,”
comments Dennis.
All Force 8 products are manufactured in its
Hazel Grove factory, ensuring you don’t have
to deal with multiple companies, allowing you
to save time and money, and assuring greater
quality control at every level.

TOP OF THE CHARTS: WALL TO
WALL SHOWROOM POSTER
» » ENDURANCE DOORS HAS
recently released an impressive showroom
poster to showcase all 76 door designs,
including 18 colours, and various glazing
options.
The one-metre wide wall chart serves as
an impressive addition to work alongside
Endurance Doors posters and pull up
banners, creating an eye-catching and enticing
combination to catch the attention of
showroom visitors. In turn, this could work
as the first step towards the HomeView Door
Designer, which will enable a customer to
create their ideal door right there and then on
a tablet.
Alongside this, the poster will also enable
customers to soak in the true scale of choice
that they get with the Endurance range. By
showcasing all of Endurance’s door styles with
some of their most popular colour and glazing
combinations, homeowners should be able
to narrow down their options more quickly.
Decreasing homeowners’ consideration times
and increasing conversions for installers.
If you would like to order your own
Endurance Doors wall chart, discuss other
marketing support or showroom materials,
email [email protected] or
call 01652 225 186 and a member of the team
will be more than happy to speak with you.
Lumi Pod pays its way
» » IT WAS GREAT NEWS WHEN A
display Pod showcasing Apeer’s Lumi window
and door system landed its first major order
within a few weeks of going into a showroom
– but the sale was just one of the benefits it
was bringing, as the owners explained.
“It immediately became the conversation
piece of the whole showroom,” said Elizabeth
Brighouse of retail installer Trade Windows
Derby.
The company has also made Lumi the main
feature of its ongoing advertising in local
lifestyle magazines, she added: “People come
in saying they’ve seen the adverts then they

see it for themselves in the Pod, so they work
very well together.”
Apeer’s Neil Delanty says installer partners
all around the UK are discovering the benefits
of the company’s powerful marketing support
for the Lumi system as well as its composite
doors and other products. The Pod is styled
directly after Apeer’s striking exhibition
stand with the specific aim of targeting
leads generated by the company’s schedule
of lifestyle exhibitions around Britain and
Ireland.
“When people see them, they want them,”
he said, “So if we help the retailers to show
them in their best light, everyone benefits all
down the line.”
