PROUD SPONSOR OF DOORS & WINDOWS DOORS&WINDOWS Chris Hindley: Endurance’s New Technical Services Manager How many years have you been working in the industry? “I’ve been working in this industry a long time, having up until recently worked for Façade Glass Solutions for over 21 years.” What is your role in the business? “My role in the business will be to provide technical support and product training to the team. I’ll also be sourcing new products and making improvements to our products and processes. Alongside this, I’ll be overseeing the service department which includes a team of three service engineers and two co-ordinators.” What will your day-to- day activities be? “My time will be split. In the office I will be evaluating new products to add to our range, improving our standards and processes and managing our team of Aftersales Service Engineers. I’ll also be performing regular technical production audits to ensure that our production techniques and processes remain industry leading. Whilst out in the field I will be providing technical training to our customers and providing any technical support they may require.” How will your new appointment help the Endurance installer network? “I’ve been fitting Endurance Doors for nearly 15 years so there’s loads of helpful tips I can offer and ‘quick wins’ that will help them improve the standard and speed of their installations. I understand that time is money to our customers, so I’ll be providing advice that will help minimise the need for any remedial work following a successful Endurance installation. I’ll also be managing our Team of Aftersales Engineers, so that when problems do happen, we can react quickly and efficiently.” What made you want to join the team at Endurance? “I’ve seen the product develop to offer a quality that is simply unmatched; and wanted to help take that even further through my own experience.” What are your first impressions of the business? “Honestly, I’m impressed at the size of the business. I didn’t know Endurance had a factory that spanned six acres.
