Emplas has strengthened its senior
management team with the
appointment of Jody Vincent as
its new National Sales Manager.

»»Northern-based trade
counter business, Truemans Windows, has
recently made a new appointment set
to further its customer support. Ashley
Warburton has been named group manager,
after previously heading up Truemans’
Burnley branch.
MD, Joe Trueman commented: “We
have constantly invested in our business
to accommodate growing demand by
opening new branches, increasing our
team, extending our product portfolio and
introducing new services, such as the online
ordering system. Ashley will oversee the
customer service activity and satisfaction
levels at all Truemans locations.”
With extensive industry experience
ranging from apprentice fitter to composite
door fabricator, Ashley first started working
at Truemans as a PVCu fabricator in 2006.
Ashley commented: “I am delighted to
be taking on this role and look forward to
offering my support to both our customers
and branch staff.”
The company is best known for the wide
variety of products. Truemans offer PVCu
products in a choice of seven different
profiles, including Rehau and Halo windows
and doors, Kommerling windows in special
foils, as well as Smart aluminium bi-folding
doors and Supalite solid roof systems.

»»Jody, who entered the
industry as a fabricator for Peterborough-based
Omega, joined the Emplas team in 2010 is
promoted to the new role, from his previous
post as area sales manager.
Commenting on his appointment he
said Emplas was committed to working in
partnership with its customers to support their
continued growth.
He said: “In my new role I’m personally
much more focussed on business development,
working with existing and new customers to
help and support them deliver new growth,
which is very rewarding.”

»»FOUR Apprentices have been
recruited by Purplex Marketing, which
launched in 2004 and now employs over 40
people.
The specialist window industry PR,
marketing and digital agency has taken on
four IT Apprentices as part of its ambitious
growth strategy.
Purplex was founded by Andrew Scott who
has unveiled plans to double its 40-strong staff
by 2017 in areas such as web design, search
engine marketing, app development and social
media.
The company works with clients across
the glass and glazing industry on marketing
strategy, design, PR, as well as digital
marketing.
