KAT ‘Mayfair’ - conveying traditional joinery aesthetics to modern PVCu sash windows. »»Mayfair, which falls under KAT’s popular Elegance branded range of products, has been developed and designed to the next level of excellence. It characterises the elements of a traditional sash timber window. Designed to imitate a traditional timber box sash window, the Mayfair has many ‘exclusive’ features only seen from KAT. The exciting new window is mechanically jointed; on the outer frame, along the sashes, the deep bottom rail, as well as runthrough sash horns. Mayfair is available in Whitegrain on both sides, and has bespoke traditional Georgian bars which sit flush with the sash as in timber, again, only available from KAT. It has a completely flush 146mm outer frame with integral cill, making it less awkward for installers ‘to make-up’. One more unique feature is the decorative hook and claw cam-catch, specifically made for KAT. The Mayfair makes an identical Life Engineered.
