On page 20 , Audasi Holdings , which includes award-winning VS manufacturer Quickslide in its portfolio , has announced its acquisition of one the South-East of England ’ s longest established and most respected trade window fabricators , Hertfordshire-based Welglaze . On page 22 , Prefix Systems Holdings Ltd has acquired Sussex-based conservatory roof and aluminium systems fabricator , Pavilion Systems Ltd , in a move that will increase the manufacturing capabilities to five sites across the Group . On page 24 , Industrial Coatings Specialist , Teknos , has completed the acquisition of Dutch company , Drywood Coatings and is now the sole supplier of Drywood products in mainland UK .
But what impact will the UK ’ s imminent exit from the European Union have on the industry ? As Prime Minister , Theresa May , outlines her plans for a hard Brexit , Mike Cherry , Chairman of the Federation of Small Businesses , says it poses both risks and opportunities for small businesses and the uncertainty surrounding the strategy adopted has affected business confidence . This April , large employers will be required to publish their gender pay and gender bonus pay gaps for the first time ever . Part of addressing the gender pay gap has been to eradicate all male boards .
