Cotswold team celebrates 40 years in business.
Cotswold positioned
for further growth
one year on from
acquisition
Nearly a year after it was officially
acquired by Caldwell UK in a move
dubbed ‘the coming together of
two hardware giants’, Cotswold
Architectural Products has recorded
strong trading figures, with its EZ
easi-clean range of egress stays.
»»One year on and
steady growth has been
maintained, ensuring that
Cotswold will end the year
having achieved an increase
in sales above anyone’s
expectations, compared to the
end of last year.
Tim Ferkin, who is General
Manager at Cotswold,
comments: “Following the
takeover by Caldwell, it was
agreed that nothing would
change when it came to the
Cotswold brand or the way the
company operates; but there
would be significant investment
in infrastructure and across the
business.

we invested in a new EZ stay
line which has allowed us to
rapidly increase capacity for this
product.”
Tim comments: “Unlike
other manufacturers, we don’t
see friction stays as just another
piece of hardware. We see it as
a specialist component and we
have thirty-five years’ experience
of innovating and working
together with fabricators to
come up with these specialist
solutions.”
Cotswold, which has a 50
strong manufacturing team,
also supplies its innovative
hardware solutions to 56
countries globally; and they
are incorporated in some of
the world’s most prestigious
